Well, I lied. Kate brought no solo content to this episode, apart from a liner introducing the listener points segment.
We got some new audio equipment, but desperately need pop filters, as well as to learn this new equipment a bit better.
I wasn’t able to work in any bedliners this week. Please let me know if it sounds better with or without. And for Pete’s sake, contact us!!!

Only -24 for Doctor Phil? You should skip the negativity for American Idol and subtract… er… add those points to Phil’s total… er, under achievement. Whatever.

Loved the podcast this week! Speaking of Heroes, I have to liken it to a Stephen King book: Great start, great middle, winds down, weaksauce ending.

So, you had me scared when I saw Dr. Phil had 24 points, until you explained the whole negative points thing. Very interesting, and I have to say that I havent seen many of those shows, but I will admit to liking American Idol. Only the first few weeks though because I am a big fan of watching people make fools of themselves. It is a self esteem thing; I know I will never be as stupid as them and that makes me feel better about myself. Sad……

Ok, this once a week thing just isn’t going to work for me.
I demand more shows.
Also missing from the list: Jericho.
I can’t even begin to count the number of times I tried to watch that show but couldn’t because the science was so bad. In one episode, the whole town had to hide underground because a rainstirn was bringing radiation from the nearby explosion with it. Then, after the rain stopped, everything was OK and they could come out. Never mind the fact that the puddles would still be contaminated and they’d all die of slow painful radiation poisoning, never mind that their ground water would be irradiated, all of their crops killed. Once the rain is over, it’s ok to go running around again. Lame!

This once a week thing will have to work. Once things slow down at my work, I may start doing one episode a week that is just me, one episode that is both “the Kate and I.”
Though I doubt we’ll be getting back to TV very soon. No idea, though, you never know. I’m kinda bummed we haven’t had any suggestions about next week’s theme.
I think I may give Kate a fairly softball challenge, like 99 points to rock n roll or 99 points to action movie heroes. Maybe even 99 points to love stories.
As for Jericho, I admit the first part of that season was challenging to watch at best. When it came back from hiatus, however it had actually gotten quite a bit better. No matter anymore, they canceled it.

I’m happy to see that so many of you agreed with me about Dr. Phil.
I can’t change my mind about American Idol, sorry. Especially not after watching this year’s finale show (not necessarily by choice). It keeps the negative points it received.
Thanks Debbie and Peter for linking!!!
