Also, due to Stephen Kings “colophonophobia”, as I call it, any TV or film project in which he has a heavy hand is bound to suck.
But, as in the case of his shorter fiction that has been rewritten or added to by real writers (such as Shawshank Redemption), they are usually the films that succeed.
